The challenge
Most visitors arrived on a phone from Google Ads or local search. The page builder theme loaded slowly, the quote form sat below a long gallery, and calls from the site were not tracked at all.
The owner knew the site was costing them jobs but had no way to see how many.
What we did
- Measure firstWe added call tracking and form events to the old site for three weeks so there was an honest baseline to compare against.
- RebuildA lightweight WordPress theme replaced the page builder, with one service page per location and the quote form and phone number above the fold on mobile.
- SpeedImages moved to modern formats, scripts were trimmed, and caching was set up at the server, bringing Core Web Vitals into the green.
- Launch and compareWe launched with the same tracking in place and compared 90 days either side.
